Your Greatest Pollinator Garden Ever

Bees, birds, butterflies, and everybody else quietly doing the work in your yard, this class covers it all. You'll learn what to plant, when to plant it, and how to build a garden pollinators actually want to visit, all tailored to our East Texas Zone 8b growing season. Bring your questions.

About the event

Y'all, it's time to talk bees and things and flowers.

Join us live on Zoom for Your Greatest Pollinator Garden Ever, a class built for East Texas yards, porches, and containers of every size. Whether you've got a quarter acre or a few pots on the steps, we'll walk through what pollinators actually need, when to plant it, and how to build a garden that's doing a job, not just looking pretty.

Here's what we'll dig into:

  • What pollinators are, and why 1 in 3 bites of food you eat exists because one visited a flower first

  • Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds: who's who in an East Texas garden and what each one needs

  • Nectar plants vs. larval host plants (there's a difference, and it matters)
