It All Started Right on
Grandma's Front Porch
The Marshall Garden Company is rooted in East Texas with the legacy of a grandmother who could grow anything (especially the remarkable plants that always seemed to be blooming on her porch).
Our goal is simple: to help more folks grow something remarkable—whether that’s a pot on the porch or a full backyard harvest. We believe gardening should bring people together and doesn't have to be painstakingly complicated. That’s why we’re blending old-school know-how with fresh, simple tools to help gardeners get the right plants for the right spots so they can enjoy them.
So whether you’re just getting started or already deep in the dirt, we’re so, so glad you’re here.

Our Mission & Values
At the Marshall Garden Company, we inspire gardeners at all levels to grow remarkable gardens and build connected communities —
one person, one plant, one porch at a time.

We're here for the people, not just the plants. Every garden we support is part of a bigger story - one rooted in neighboryly love, shared knowledge, and growing our community together.
Make It
Make Sense
Gardening doesn't have to be complicated and you don't have to have a green thumb. That's why we offer clear and honest support - no fluff and no guessing games, just real help that works.
Remarkable on Purpose
We don't do average.
From thoughtful service
to standout spaces, our target is to make every experience in the garden something that is truly remarkable.

Meet the Family //

Todd
We secretly refer to him as the lawn legend because that's his jam. He also knows tons about the trees, dirt work and all things pond. If you're lucky, he might let you fish our pond with him.
Favorite Plants to Grow:
- Habanero Peppers
- Chili Pequin Peppers
- Japanese Maple Trees
- Red Bud Trees
Melisa
If he's the lawn legend, then she's certainly our flower philosopher. She's in her zone when she's helping gardeners pick out the right plants for the right spots and she loves nerding out about veggie gardens.
Favorite Plants to Grow:
- Mustard Greens
- Salvia Greggii and Salvia Lamiaceae
- Echinachea
- Cherokee Purple Tomatoes
Winston
He's everyone's favorite garden doodle. If you spot paw prints around, you know why.
He may not pull weeds, but he sure keeps us smiling. He's on paw-trol duty and hanging out right next to Todd or Melisa .
Favorite Plants:
- Strawberries (he sneaks them from our raised beds at home)
- Shade Trees (for doggie naps)
